Senior Pastor Jeff Crabtree
Pastor Crabtree is the Senior Pastor of
LIFE Church of Fort Collins and President
of the organization as incorporated under
section 501(c) 3 in the State of Colorado.
Jeff Crabtree grew up in Fort Collins, CO.
He is a 1977 graduate of Rocky Mountain High
School in Fort Collins.
Jeff and his wife Kathy have three children:
Kyle, Kristin and Nathanael. Jeff had a dramatic
experience when he became a Christian soon
after high school. Jeff states that after
receiving Christ as His Savior, his whole
life changed. For the first time in his life,
he had a purpose for living; a joy that greatly
inspired him and a peace that guided him.
He developed an intense passion to help others
find the same life-giving reality that he
had found in Jesus Christ.
In 1979 Jeff became a Youth Pastor at the
First Christian Church in Fort Collins. Jeff
states that in this season of his life, he
learned how important it was for young people
to find an authentic relationship with Jesus
Christ. In early 1987, Jeff and Kathy moved
to the Oklahoma City area where Jeff became
the Senior Pastor of Victory Fellowship Church.
A healthy, growing, vibrant, and successful
church was developed in the eight years he
spent at Victory. All three of their children
were born during his time in Oklahoma City.
In early 1995, Jeff and his family relocated
to Cincinnati, Ohio where Jeff assumed the
role of President of Christ's Church Fellowship
(CCF). CCF is an international ministry focusing
on local church development, leadership development,
church planting and international outreach.
In this time, Jeff traveled extensively across
the United States and around the world. Jeff
testifies that his travels opened his eyes
to the needs of people and the great opportunity
that exists for Christians to reach the whole
world with the love of God. In early 1999
Jeff and his family moved back to Fort Collins.
Jeff states that it was his long-term desire
and call to one-day return to Fort Collins
to Pastor a growing and vibrant church that
would touch locally and reach globally with
the good news of the abundant LIFE of Jesus!
When Jeff returned to Fort Collins he served
on staff at Iasis Christ Fellowship for 5
years before starting LIFE Church in January
of 2004.
Jeff and Kathy look forward to continuing
to serve the Fort Collins community by sharing
the message of abundant LIFE found in a personal
and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ!

Pastor Dave Yauk
Dave Yauk is the Associate Pastor in charge
of Youth and Worship at LIFE Church of Ft.
Collins.
Dave Yauk grew up in Windsor Colorado. He
is a 2000 Graduate from Windsor High School
and a 2005 graduate for Colorado Christian
University with a degree in Christian Leadership,
as well as a certificate in Bible.
Dave Yauk now lives in Ft. Collins with his
wife Katie and they are both on fire for the
ministry of LIFE Church. Dave and Katie met
at CCU during their tenure, and are now living
LIFE together. Dave was saved when he was
8 years of age and after a brief rebellious
stage in his teenage years, he came to know
the Lord in a more personal way at the age
of 18. Katie also accepted Christ at a very
young age and now has a passion to be a wife,
a mother and a servant of Jesus Christ.
Dave went through High School as a "band nerd."
He was really involved with band competitions
and band activities. Growing up he was involved
heavily in his youth group and under the direction
of Sean Eddy, Dave grew in his walk the Lord
and in his passion to go into full-time ministry.
Shortly after High School, Dave went to the
University of Northern Colorado to study drums
and percussion. He got very involved with
Intervarsity, a ministry on campus, running
sound for outreaches and leading worship.
But this wasn't the final stop for Dave because
he soon became discontent with the mentality
of the UNC life, and discovered a ministry
called CTI Music Ministries at a National
Conference known as Urbana in 2001. CTI is
a ministry that assembles worship teams to
travel all over the globe sharing the message
of Jesus. Dave went to Africa, St. Vincent
in the Caribbean, as well as Canada and 36
of the 50 states.
CTI Music Ministries matured Dave. It taught
him how to work with musicians, resolve group
conflict, mentor kids and work with youth.
This passion that was formed in him during
that time brought him back to Windsor to work
at a youth coffee shop known as Bonjo's. Bonjo's
reached out to at risk teens in Windsor and
provided entertainment and mentorship to kids.
From here Dave went on to lead worship for
the youth group at Timberline Church in Ft.
Collins before he signed on to work with Jeff
Crabtree and the family of LIFE Church. Dave
is excited about receiving Christ's LIFE and
sharing it with Christ's people. He and Katie
look forward to serving at LIFE Church for
a long time!!

Katie Maguire, Children's
Ministry Director
Katie is a first generation American. Her
parents are from Wales and moved to the United
States in 1966. Katie was born in New Jersey
and has lived in Massachusetts and California.
She recently moved to Fort Collins in 2004
with her husband Chris and their children,
Shane and Allison. Katie is a graduate of
the University of Massachusetts at Amherst
with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel
Administration.
Katie has owned and operated many businesses,
but her greatest "job" is being a wife and
mom to such an awesome family. Ever since
she can remember, all she ever dreamed about
was being Mom. After college, knowing that
the Hospitality Industry was not where she
wanted to be, Katie moved back to California
and took a "temporary" job at a workshop for
Developmentally Disabled Adults. This temporary
job lasted 6 years. Katie met Chris in California
through a mutual friend from her work.
Katie grew up Roman Catholic. Even though
she went to Catholic school and church every
week, she felt as though there was something
missing. When she was 25 years old, her co-worker
bought her a Bible and took her to a service
at Saddleback Church, which was just down
the street from her house. It was like everything
clicked for the first time in her life. After
Katie and Chris were married and started their
family, they attended an Evangelical Friends
Church where they had experienced an unbelievable
miracle in their lives after being prayed
for. It was then that they both gave their
lives to Christ.
Leaving their church family to move to Colorado
was especially difficult for Katie, but she
knew that she needed to trust God. Katie and
Chris have been to many different churches
in Fort Collins and feel passionately about
LIFE Church being the right place for them
and their children to grow in their walk with
the Lord.
Katie's love for children goes beyond just
being the Children's Ministry Director. Her
greatest desire for the children at LIFE Church
is for them to form lifelong friendships with
each other. She is excited to support children
in receiving the LIFE of Jesus and freely
sharing it with others. She sees God's love
growing inside her own children's hearts and
wants to be involved in serving families so
their children can experience that special
gift too.

Beverly Scarborough, Administrative
Assistant
Beverly grew up in New York and Texas. Being
from a Scottish family newly arrived in the
United States, Beverly was raised in the Congregational
Church in New York and the Presbyterian Church
in Dallas and San Antonio. She attended the
University of Texas in Austin before marrying
a native Houstonian who had moved to San Antonio.
Two children, son Tracy and daughter Christina,
were born. Life took a series of twists and
turns and Beverly and her children were on
their own. They moved from San Antonio to
Houston, to Aspen and back to Houston, where
Beverly eventually began working at a start-up
bank.
Last year another change occurred. The once
small bank had grown and was purchased by
an even larger institution and Beverly's job
was eliminated. It was in October that Beverly
and her son Tracy, now grown, moved to Fort
Collins to pursue a long time dream of returning
to Colorado. Beverly began attending a Presbyterian
Church in hopes of settling down after a challenging
year.
"It was unexpected when I discovered that
LIFE Church was looking for a full time Administrative
Assistant. Other opportunities did not seem
as important as I spoke on several occasions
to Pastor Jeff about the position. I look
forward to helping LIFE Church attain new
heights by focusing on organization, creating
effective policies and procedures and implementing
the latest technologies and systems. I also
soon realized the wonderful opportunity not
only to serve Pastor Jeff, Pastor Dave and
the members of LIFE Church, but to be a part
of a Christian fellowship spreading the word
of Jesus Christ."
